I didn't grow up sitting in boardroom meetings or chasing corporate trends. I spent my years with grease on my hands, working the fields of Clay City, Illinois. That blue-collar life taught me how to work, how to sweat, and how to write songs about real people who know what an honest day's labor feels like. From writing songs on the back of a tractor to watching tracks like "From The Fall" connect with millions, the hustle has never stopped. But the reality of making music independently means playing by a broken set of rules. It means driving hours to commercial studios and watching a clock tick while paying thousands of dollars by the hour just to get a single vocal track down. That pressure kills the creative spark.
True Creative Independence
My hope is to completely cut the middleman out of the equation. I want to build a space where the music always comes first—free from corporate label bills, strict time constraints, and outside opinions. By taking the recording process entirely into my own hands, I can capture the music the exact second the inspiration hits, whether that's at 2:00 PM or 3:00 AM. It means staying 100% independent, raw, and fiercely loyal to the sound that brought us together in the first place.
A Fan-Built Studio & The Open Road
The dream is two-fold, and I can't build it without the Wolfpack. First: The Home Studio — a dedicated, professional home recording space. Every microphone, acoustic panel, and soundboard funded here is a literal brick in a house built by the fans. When you hear a guitar riff or a vocal line on the next record, you'll know your support made it happen. Second: The Independent Roadshows — once the music is cut, I want to take it directly to the pavement. Raw, high-energy acoustic roadshows and independent tours. Pack the truck, fuel the tank, and hit the small towns and backroad venues that major corporate tours completely skip past.
